WaxRunner Dip Hot-Wax Chain Melter Printed Parts Kit
A benchtop hot-wax melter for bicycle chains, built around a narrow slot instead of a round pot. A chain folded accordion-style is a flat bundle, so it hangs flat and fully under the wax in a 175 x 24 mm slot, 170 mm deep, with a heater pad on each long wall: no wax is more than 12 mm from a heated surface. The stainless dip frame is longer than the slot and rests on the collar, so it cannot fall in, and after the soak it hangs on the mast so the chain drips back into the tank. The slot is sized for one 500 g bag of chain wax. Printed parts kit: ASA body, PC collar and lid, PETG base and hanger, TPU grip and buttons, 232 x 154 x 200 mm. The aluminium tank, heater pads, controller, sensors, wiring, dip frame and mast are not included.
