Calls, demos and site visits on your Google Calendar, with the lead attached.
DueDoor books meetings through Cal.com, and Cal.com writes them to your Google Calendar. Your free time decides which slots people see, every booking is tied to its lead in DueDoor, and moves or cancellations update both sides.
What moves between Google Calendar and DueDoor
Be clear on who does what: Cal.com talks to Google Calendar, and DueDoor talks to Cal.com. Together they cover the full loop.
| What | Direction | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Your busy times | Into DueDoor | Cal.com checks your Google Calendar, so slots that clash with your events are not offered. |
| Open slots | Into DueDoor | DueDoor reads open slots from your Cal.com account, so the AI agent offers real times in a chat. |
| New bookings | From DueDoor | Booked through Cal.com and written to your Google Calendar, with a Google Meet link if you choose Meet. |
| Booked, moved and cancelled | Into DueDoor | Cal.com tells DueDoor through a signed webhook, and the meeting and lead are updated. |
| Booking link | From DueDoor | The "Send booking link" step sends your Cal.com link on WhatsApp so people pick a slot themselves. |
| Meeting triggers | Into DueDoor | Meeting booked, moved and cancelled can each start a flow: confirmations, reminders, a task. |
From "can we meet?" to a calendar event
The lead asks for a time on WhatsApp, picks a slot, and the event appears on your Google Calendar with the meeting in DueDoor.
- Every meeting appears on the DueDoor calendar and on the lead card, with company, stage and phone beside it.
- Your Google Calendar stays the place you look each morning; nothing has to be copied across.
- Reschedule and cancel links come from Cal.com, and DueDoor updates the meeting when they are used.
- Meeting triggers can send a WhatsApp confirmation, a reminder before the slot and a follow-up after it.
- Meetings added by hand in DueDoor sit on the same calendar and fire the same triggers.
How to connect Google Calendar
We set it up with you and test it end to end before it runs on real leads.
- 01
Connect Google Calendar in Cal.com
In your Cal.com account, add Google Calendar so it can check your busy times and add new bookings.
- 02
Set your event types
Create the meetings you offer, for example a 30 minute call or a site visit, with notice times and buffers.
- 03
Add Cal.com to DueDoor
Add your Cal.com API key and username to your workspace, so DueDoor can read slots and book.
- 04
Turn on the booking webhook
Point Cal.com's webhook at DueDoor so bookings, moves and cancellations update the lead.
- 05
Build the reminder flow
Use the meeting triggers for a confirmation now, a reminder before the slot and a note after it.
What it does not do
We would rather you know the edges before you start. These are the honest limits today.
DueDoor does not write to Google Calendar directly. Cal.com does that part, so a Cal.com account is needed.
Events you add straight into Google Calendar do not appear in DueDoor. They only block those times from being offered.
Google Meet links are created by Cal.com when you choose Meet as the location for an event type.
Outlook and other calendars can work the same way where Cal.com supports them, but this page covers Google Calendar.

Questions about the Google Calendar integration
Does DueDoor connect to Google Calendar directly?
No. DueDoor books through Cal.com, and Cal.com is connected to your Google Calendar. Cal.com checks your busy times and writes each booking to your calendar, and DueDoor keeps the meeting on the lead.
Do I need a paid Cal.com plan?
It depends on what you need from Cal.com. Connecting a Google Calendar and taking bookings works on Cal.com's individual plan; team features vary by plan. Check Cal.com's pricing page for the current details.
Can the AI agent book a meeting in a WhatsApp chat?
Yes. DueDoor reads open slots from your Cal.com account and can book one when the person picks a time. It can also send your booking link so they choose themselves.
What happens when someone reschedules or cancels?
They use the links from Cal.com. Cal.com tells DueDoor through its webhook, and DueDoor updates the meeting and the lead. A "meeting moved" or "meeting cancelled" flow can then run.
Will events I add in Google Calendar show up in DueDoor?
No. They block those times from being offered, but only meetings booked through Cal.com, or added in DueDoor, appear on the DueDoor calendar.
Can we send reminders before each meeting?
Yes. Meeting triggers can start a flow that sends a WhatsApp confirmation, a reminder before the slot and a follow-up afterwards, using approved templates where WhatsApp requires them.
