DueDoor vs WATI: which WATI alternative fits your team?
On this page

The short answer

Both run on Meta’s official WhatsApp Business Platform, so delivery, template approval and Meta’s charges work the same way. The difference is what sits around WhatsApp, and how you want to buy and set it up.

Pick WATI if

You want a published entry price (the single-user plan is ₹999, returned as message credits), you are happy to self-serve, your CRM is already HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho, or your team answers Instagram, Facebook and TikTok messages in the same inbox.

Pick DueDoor if

Your leads come from ads and website forms and need a WhatsApp reply and a phone call quickly, you want chats, AI call recordings and email on one lead record, you want Google Ads to learn from qualified leads, and you want setup done with you.

    Where WATI is strong

    • A low, published start. The single-user plan is a one-time ₹999, credited back as message credits for up to about 500 messages. For occasional campaigns that is hard to beat.
    • Channel breadth. Growth lists WhatsApp messages and calling, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and a web widget in one inbox, plus Instagram DM and comment automations.
    • Integrations. Their library includes HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, LeadSquared, Bitrix24, Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Sheets, Calendly and Zapier. If sales already lives in one of those CRMs, WATI slots in beside it.
    • WhatsApp calling. Inbound and outbound calls inside the WhatsApp thread, with recording, transcription and AI summaries.
    • Astra AI agents. Deploy to web, WhatsApp, phone, SMS and RCS, with 30+ languages listed. An add-on priced separately.

    Where DueDoor is different

The principle DueDoor is built on: work every lead from one record, across every channel, from ad click to booked meeting.

AI calling on your lead list

The AI voice agent dials new or listed leads over ordinary phone lines, runs your script, asks your qualifying questions and saves the recording, transcript, summary and outcome (interested, meeting booked, call back) on the lead. An optional device dials from your own SIM and local mobile number. It reaches people who filled a form but have not chatted yet.

One CRM for WhatsApp, calls and email

Meta and Google lead forms, website forms, WhatsApp and imports land in one WhatsApp CRM pipeline with stages, owners, tasks, deal value, duplicate-safe phone matching and AI lead scoring. Email sequences with follow-ups sit in the same workspace.

    Visitor intelligence and ad feedback

Bunzo shows sources, search queries where available, pages and scroll depth, and turns pop-up submissions into leads. It does not reveal names unless a visitor fills a form. When a lead becomes qualified, an automation can send it to Google Ads as an offline conversion, so bidding learns from real leads rather than every form fill.

A worked example: a Google Ads form lead gets a WhatsApp template, the WhatsApp AI agent answers from your brochure, an AI call runs your qualifying script, and an interested outcome moves the lead and signals the ad account. After a 30-minute demo, DueDoor sets this up with you.

    Pricing

WATI, as published on 18 September 2026

    • Single-user pay-as-you-go: ₹999 one-time, returned as message credits, no subscription.
    • Growth, Pro and Business plans, billed monthly, quarterly or annually. The price is shown for your region, so see their pricing page.
    • Growth includes 3 users; Pro and Business include 5, with extra users at $24 and $69 per user per month.
    • Messages are charged on the WATI rate card; Astra is priced separately; annual plans list up to about 25% off.

    DueDoor

The WhatsApp API plan is ₹1,599 a month, ₹1,299 a month on quarterly billing and ₹999 a month on yearly billing. AI automation plans are ₹29,999 and ₹49,999 a month, with custom Enterprise plans above that. AI calling is priced separately. Meta’s charges and calling usage are billed on top via a prepaid wallet, and there is a full refund within 15 days of payment (refund policy). See DueDoor pricing for plan contents.

Either way, Meta’s charges follow its rate card: per delivered template since 1 July 2025, with utility templates free inside an open service window, per Meta’s pricing documentation.

    Switching from WATI

Our guide to moving a WhatsApp number has the detail. In short:

    1. Export contacts with opt-in status and tags.
    2. List your templates. Meta duplicates approved, high-quality templates to the new account, but they can be re-checked or rejected, and the rest must be recreated and approved again.
    3. Migrate the number. Turn off two-step verification, then use embedded signup. Display name, quality rating and limits carry over.
    4. Rebuild flows in the new workspace; DueDoor does this with you.
    5. Export chat history you need, because the number moves but the old inbox does not.

    Frequently asked questions

Is DueDoor a good WATI alternative for a small team?

If the work is mostly broadcasts and support chats and you want a price you can buy online, WATI’s single-user or Growth plan is a sensible start. If the team chases ad and form leads and needs WhatsApp, AI calls and email in one CRM, set up with you, DueDoor fits better.

Do WATI and DueDoor both use the official WhatsApp Business API?

Yes. WATI lists official WhatsApp API setup, and DueDoor is an approved Meta Tech Provider using Meta’s embedded signup. Messaging limits and Meta’s per-message charges come from Meta in both cases.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number if I move from WATI to DueDoor?

Usually yes. Meta supports migrating a business number to a different WhatsApp Business Account and keeps the display name, quality rating and messaging limits. Turn off two-step verification first and expect templates to be re-checked.

How is WhatsApp calling different from DueDoor’s AI calling?

WhatsApp Business Calling, which WATI offers, places calls inside the WhatsApp app. DueDoor’s AI voice agent places ordinary phone calls, runs your script and logs the recording, transcript and outcome on the lead. Some teams want both.

Does DueDoor have a free plan?

No. The WhatsApp API plan starts at ₹999 a month, the 30-minute demo is free, and you get a full refund if you ask within 15 days of payment.
