A Telegram bot for your business, connected to your DueDoor leads.
We build a Telegram bot for you, host it and connect it to DueDoor. It answers people with menus and buttons, collects details from those who start it, sends each lead into your pipeline and posts alerts to your team. There is no Telegram switch in the dashboard: this is a connection we build and run for you.
What moves between Telegram and DueDoor
Telegram connects through its official Bot API. A small bot service we build and host sits between Telegram and DueDoor. This is what moves through it.
| What | Direction | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Leads from the bot | Into DueDoor | When a person shares their name and number, or asks for a call, the bot posts them to your DueDoor lead endpoint with "telegram" as the source page. |
| Their question and choices | Into DueDoor | What they asked and the buttons they picked go into the lead's message, so your team knows the context before replying. |
| Link and QR code tracking | Into DueDoor | A t.me link with a start parameter tells the bot which post, ad or QR code brought the person, and it travels with the lead as a campaign tag. |
| Alerts to your team | From DueDoor | An automation's HTTP request step calls Telegram's sendMessage method, so a new lead, a stage change or a booked meeting posts to your team group. |
| Channel posts | From DueDoor | Once the bot is an admin of your channel, an HTTP request step or the bot service posts offers and updates there, on a schedule or when something happens. |
| The chats themselves | Not synced | Telegram conversations stay in Telegram and in the bot's own log. They do not appear in the DueDoor team inbox today. |
What a Telegram enquiry turns into
Someone taps your t.me link, starts the bot, picks from the menu and shares a number. The bot answers in Telegram, and your team gets a lead in DueDoor.
- The bot answers common questions with buttons, such as timings, fees, locations or a price list, at any hour.
- When a person is ready, a "Share my number" button sends their phone in one tap. Telegram only shares it if they press it.
- The lead arrives in DueDoor with "telegram" as the source page tag, and your "New lead" automations start as they do for any lead.
- An HTTP request step can post an alert to your team's Telegram group the moment a lead arrives or a stage changes.
- We host and run the bot service, watch its log and keep it working when Telegram updates the Bot API.
How to connect Telegram
We set it up with you and test it end to end before it runs on real leads.
- 01
Create the bot with BotFather
In Telegram, message @BotFather, choose a name and a username ending in "bot", and keep the token it gives you private. The bot belongs to your Telegram account.
- 02
Plan the menu and answers
We agree the welcome message, the buttons, the questions to ask and the moment a person should be passed to your team.
- 03
We build and host the bot
A small service receives Telegram's webhook over HTTPS, runs the replies and menus, and logs each step.
- 04
Connect it to DueDoor
The bot posts leads to your lead endpoint with a form token, and your automations post alerts back to Telegram with HTTP request steps.
- 05
Test, then share the link
We test with a few accounts, then you share your t.me link and QR code on Instagram, your website, ads and print.
What it does not do
We would rather you know the edges before you start. These are the honest limits today.
There is no Telegram tab in the DueDoor team inbox today. Telegram chats stay in Telegram; the lead and the details the bot collected come into DueDoor.
There is no one-click Telegram connect in the dashboard. We build, host and run the connection for you as part of our work.
A bot cannot message someone first. A person has to open your bot and press Start, or write to it, before the bot can reply. You cannot upload a list of numbers and message them on Telegram.
A bot does not see a person's phone number unless they choose to share it with the contact button.
We work only with the official Bot API. We do not automate personal Telegram accounts.

Questions about the Telegram integration
Does DueDoor have a built-in Telegram integration?
Not as a switch in the dashboard. We build the connection for you: a Telegram bot service that we host and run, linked to your DueDoor workspace through the lead endpoint and HTTP request steps. Telegram chats do not appear in the DueDoor team inbox today.
Is the Telegram Bot API free?
Yes. Telegram does not charge for using the Bot API, and there is no business verification or message template approval like on WhatsApp. Our work to build, host and run the bot is quoted separately.
Can our bot message people who have not started it?
No. A Telegram bot can only message people who have opened it and pressed Start, or written to it. Share your bot link and QR code on your channels so people start it themselves.
How do Telegram leads reach DueDoor?
When a person shares their details, the bot posts them to your DueDoor lead endpoint with your form token and "telegram" as the source page. The endpoint needs a name and a phone or email, so the bot asks for the number with Telegram's contact button.
Can DueDoor send alerts to our team on Telegram?
Yes. An automation's HTTP request step can call Telegram's sendMessage method with your bot token, so a new lead, a stage change or a booked meeting posts to a team group the bot has been added to.
Can the bot post to our Telegram channel?
Yes, once you add the bot to the channel as an administrator allowed to post. Posts can go out on a schedule or when something happens, such as a new offer going live.
Will the bot read every message in our group?
Not by default. Telegram bots run in privacy mode in groups, so they see commands and replies to them. That suits alert groups, where the bot mostly posts.
Should we use Telegram or WhatsApp for customers?
For many businesses in India and the UAE, WhatsApp stays the main customer channel. Telegram suits channels, communities and people who prefer it. Leads from both can land in the same DueDoor pipeline.
